The New York Yacht Club in Newport, RI is a historic preservation project that included demolition, new construction and renovation. Advanced Building Concepts’ attention to detail insured that the structure’s historical integrity was preserved with custom doors, millwork and casework. Interior finishes include cork tile floors, beach wainscoted walls and vaulted plaster ceilings.

Advanced Building Concepts constructed a 1,300 SF addition to house a new kitchen, renovated the existing kitchen into a dining room and lounge, and installed a three-stop passenger elevator. All work on the project including demolition, excavation, ledge removal and finishes were completed in five
and one-half months without any unplanned interruptions to club activities.
